Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Flockora ("Flockora," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Flockora mobile application (the "App"). Flockora is published by Prisad Business Services LLP, a company organized in India.
Flockora helps backyard chicken and bird keepers organize birds, flocks, health notes, tasks and reminders, egg records, feed records, and breeding, clutch, candling, and hatch records.
Who Can Use Flockora
Flockora is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Most of the records you create in Flockora — including bird profiles, flock organization, health notes, tasks and reminders, egg records, feed records, and breeding, clutch, candling, and hatch records — are stored locally on your device using a local SQLite database. This locally stored information is not automatically transmitted to us. It stays on your device unless you choose to share it yourself (for example, by exporting or backing up your device through your own device or operating system tools).
Optional Bird-Photo Analysis Feature
Flockora includes an optional feature that lets you analyze a photo of a bird to support certain in-app functionality. This feature is optional — it is only used if you choose to select or capture a photo for that purpose.
When you use this feature, the photo you select does leave your device. It is transmitted to Flockora's own backend so that the requested analysis can be performed. We do not describe this feature as keeping photos on your device only.
Based on the current design of this feature:
- The photo is processed for the specific request you make and is handled ephemerally, in the backend's memory, for the duration of that request.
- The App does not currently integrate a real third-party artificial intelligence provider to perform this analysis; processing occurs on Flockora's own backend.
- We do not currently maintain user accounts, so photo submissions are not tied to an account profile.
Because the backend service that supports this feature is still in development and has not yet been deployed and independently verified in production, we are not in a position to make specific claims about production security measures for this transmission, such as encryption in transit. We do not describe this feature, or the App as a whole, as completely secure, and we do not claim that no data is collected when this feature is used.
Information We Do Not Currently Collect
- Flockora does not currently require or offer user accounts or logins.
- Flockora does not currently include advertising.
- Flockora does not currently include analytics or usage-tracking services.
If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before the change takes effect.
How Information Is Used
Locally stored records are used solely to provide the App's flock-management features on your own device. Photos submitted through the optional photo-analysis feature are used only to perform the analysis you requested for that specific submission.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your information. We do not share locally stored records with third parties, because those records remain on your device and are not transmitted to us. We do not currently share photos submitted through the optional photo-analysis feature with third-party advertising or analytics services, and no third-party artificial intelligence provider is currently integrated into this feature.
International Users
Flockora is published by Prisad Business Services LLP in India. We do not currently make specific representations about the hosting location or region of backend infrastructure, or about international data transfer mechanisms, and we will update this Policy if and when such details are finalized and verified.
Your Choices
You can use Flockora's core flock-management features without ever using the optional bird-photo analysis feature. Because most records are stored locally, removing the App from your device removes that locally stored information from that device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves, including as backend infrastructure for the optional photo feature is finalized and verified. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
